Does it matter?

Jesus is coming back.

“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?”

‭‭[Mark‬ ‭8:36‬ ‭NKJV‬‬]

This week we’re talking about perspective. Relevancy. Is it worth it to chase all that we chase without a heart and a soul that is right with our maker?

What happens when we get the job, the title, the relationship, the “look” but we stand before the maker with NOTHING? To have him say he doesn’t know us? (GOD FORBID)

To do all we think we are doing for the kingdom and stand before Him and He looks at us like “Who are you?”

It’s not about what we can gain, but what the kingdom gains through us. We weren’t gifted breathe to be ordinary, to go day to day seeking the same things.

Wake up. Work out. Devotional. Work/school. Socialize and repeat. That’s not it. All these things are good and wonderful things. But when we forget that this world will SOON be nothing but a memory.

What will we say?
