The Road Less Travelled

Transformation begins with allowing yourself to be transformed.

There is a call that we each must respond to, either we ignore or we go deeper.

Often the road less travelled.

13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.14 [a]Because narrow is the gate and[b]difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Matthew 7:13-14

This road is a narrow road, many times there is only space for one and the Holy Spirit. A road that is filled with pruning and purging that brings forth Godly fruit. The chiseling away of one's self created beliefs, character traits and behaviors that are not in alignment with God's ultimate plan. The things we hold dear that limit God's ability to move through us. That hinder us from shining bright. This is by no means comfortable or enjoyable... but our "temporary sufferings are not worthy to be compared to the glory which shall be revealed in us." (Romans 8:18)

Characteristics that I have believed were " just me" when light began to shine, I found out the hard way that I am truly a man of unclean lips" (Isaiah 6:5).

The tug to seclude and intercede. A sudden change in appetite, the things that once used to make one comfortable, no longer offer that same comfort. The things that used to occupy one's time, no longer seem beneficial ... What's happened? The journey has begun. Continue to dive deeper.

16 So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed. Luke 5:16

The moment we yield ourselves to the Lord, He starts to place a Godly burden for things in our hearts. We start to notice the things that break His heart. Things we would once talk about become a prayer point for transformation. We genuinely desire to see the Lord move in new areas. Places we once used to go, ideologies we once believed are overtaken by the Father's heart beat. He Himself begins to transform you into the ultimate image, Jesus Christ..On the road less travelled.
